Virgil Fox Signature Series
Rodgers Providence 900-A Custom Electronic Organ

The Coach Haus organ is a solid oak three manual Rodgers Providence 900-A organ (MICASKO series), AGO specified (61-note manuals, 32-note concave, radiating pedal board) draw-knob console featuring lighted drawknobs, solid wood keys, transposer, divided expression, programmable Tutti and Crescendo sequences with LED indicators, note-by-note tuning, toe bolster with twenty-two toe studs, locking roll top, auto turn-off circuit, lighted music rack and pedal board, engraved stop knobs and couplers, six channel sound, 61-note celestes, expanded flute tremulants, selectable Major/Minor/Flemish bells, dual memory combination action, and enough power and sound to fill most large churches.

This instrument was retired from service at the Shavertown United Methodist Church, Shavertown, Pennsylvania in 2001.  It was installed by Rodgers Organs of St. Louis in the Coach Haus in the spring of 2004 with many new Walker Technical Company high-end speakers and amplifiers to complement the existing Rodgers loudspeakers in the 22' x 4' x 10' custom sound chamber located high in the west wall of the main room.  There are Walker echo-antiphonals on the east wall, 12' off the floor.  With the natural reverberation of such a large space, you have to hear it and feel it to believe it!

Rodgers Instruments of Hillsboro, Oregon, is the largest manufacturer of musical instruments for public spaces.  Hundreds of churches, as well as civic centers and auditoriums  -- and at least one garage! -- have Rodgers organs installed.  Visit their interesting and informative website at www.rodgersinstruments.com.
