The Coach Haus Organ
Console Specifications:
The Coach Haus organ is a solid oak three manual
Rodgers Providence 900-A organ (MICASKO series), AGO specified
(61-note manuals, 32-note concave, radiating pedal board) draw-knob
console featuring lighted drawknobs, solid wood keys, transposer,
divided expression, programmable Tutti and Crescendo sequences with LED
indicators, note-by-note tuning, toe bolster with twenty-two toe studs,
locking roll top, auto turn-off circuit, lighted music rack and pedal
board, engraved stop knobs and couplers, six channel sound, 61-note
celestes, expanded flute tremulants, selectable Major/Minor/Flemish
bells, dual memory combination action, and enough power and sound to
fill most large churches.
The Coach Haus organ was retired from service at the Shavertown United Methodist Church,
Shavertown, Pennsylvania in 2001. It was installed by Rodgers Organs of
St. Louis in the Coach Haus in the spring of 2004 with many new Walker
Technical Company high-end speakers and amplifiers in the 22' x 4' x 10'
custom sound chamber located high in the west wall of the main room.
There are Walker echo-antiphonals on the east wall, 12' off the floor.
With the natural reverberation of such a large space, you have to
hear it and feel it to believe it!
